Steve Maples, Mick Jaeger, and Ronnie Belaire grew up together in Yakima, WA and have performed together since 1982. Joining the band in the 90's are Rick Burgoyne and Mark Belaire. By blending rhythmic guitars, smokin' sax, killer keyboards, and a driving beat, The Shreds produce a contagious sound that drives people to the dance floor. The high caliber of musician ship in the Shreds, is what got them noticed in Playboy and on MTV. Bands that influenced The Shreds include Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Rod Stewart, CCR, John Mellencamp, The Doors, and The Beatles.
